Google Assistant in general support “Routines” that you can set up in Google Home. That is a set of stuffs to do when you say a certain command to the assistant. A simple example is to say “Hey Google, good morning” to your phone, to which google responds with telling you the weather, calender events and some news. If you do the same in the car it will simply tell you that routines are not supported. A routine can also be used to send commands to your home automation system to open the garage door or check that the doors are locked at home etc.
